Diclofenac free acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Diclofenac free acid is only available in the form of dispersible tablets, specifically designed to disintegrate quickly in water yielding a tasteless suspension of it, which is taken orally. The actions and uses are similar to those of diclofenac sodium.

Adult Dosage: 100 to 150 mg 8 hourly orally

Diclofenac Free Acid is contraindicated in conditions like Gastric ulceration, Hypersensitivity to any component of product. Drug should not be given to Geriatrics.

The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Diclofenac Free Acid are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Diarrhea, Rashes, Nausea and vomiting, Epigastric pain, GI bleeding.

Diclofenac free acid should be used with caution in patients with renal imairment; hepatic impairment; elderly.
